So here's my life in a nutshell. I went to UVSC for a year with my best friends, and gave that up to do the next most logical thing- work construction, framing LDS chapels in Arizona. After working on my muscles and tan, I came back to Utah to be an EFY councilor at BYU. The week before I started that job I went to a "Hot Singles" dance, because I was so hot (yeah right), and so single (that's true). That's when my 6'7 dream danced into my life. We both couldn't dance, which is probably why we hit things off so well.
2 engagements, and about 15 break-ups later Jon Homer and I were hitched! We were married July 2005, and I could not be happier. We both worked to put Jon through school, then I went back to try to figure out what I wanted to be when I grow up. I got as far as my associates, (still not knowing what I want to be) and have stopped for the time being to do what I love most, being a mom. At our Senior Dinner Dance I was awarded "Most Likely to Have 20 Kids", which I have taken most seriously and I'm a fifth of the way there. Our last baby was actually just born March 30th.
My husband works like a madman, and I stay home and become a little more crazy every day. I work 2 part-time jobs doing things I love. I am a caregiver to people with special needs, and make jewelry on the side. I have big plans to travel to Lagoon this summer, and maybe if I'm lucky I'll be visiting Mickey Mouse the summer following. :) I feel so blessed and truly could not be happier. It's been so fun thinking about "the good ol' days" and I can't wait to see old friends!
